Close combat clasp, S&L in Bronze

Close combat clasp S&L in Bronze. Excellent, practically unissued condition and near mint example of close combat clasp in Bronze.  S&L never marked their Nahkampfspange clasps. The backplate and slender banjo style pin we're both magnetic.  Characteristic of all Steinhauer & Lück clasps (regardless of the type) is the consistent lack of any hand finishing to the edges of the reverse. The backplate crimping used by S&L remained consistent on all its variants (except for the solid) -  one-piece integral type. Also unique catch is a significant connection to  S&L producer.  A long indented crimp on each side what sometimes supplemented with an additional crimp to top and - or bottom. Perfect badge in untouched condition with no damage.
