M 42/43 Tarnmutze for Waffen SS
Attic found M 42/43 camouflage hat, damaged due of wet storage on the farm's attic. Textbook example, but unfortunately in bad condition. M42 hats have been used with reversible colored insignia and without grommets, they are also a little bit different in shape and cut than M43 hats. M43 model has 4 metal grommets, 2 on each side. Note that they are same on both sides and has no traces of installation.
