M1938 Red Army Tank crew helmet,1944 issue. Non-standard canvas cloth for such helmets, usually these helmets were made of dark gray or black tarpaulin (kirza) according to technical specifications. In this case, the helmet is made of gray canvas. Inside part of the neck guard apron marked 1944 (ink stamp). The helmet has no traces of use in an unused condition, as found in the stock. Excellent and rare piece for the collection.
