German M35 Wehrmacht single decal steel helmet, personalized. The helmet has 4 coats of paint on it. The outermost finish is a rough textured field grey paint and the interior neck guard apron shows that the helmet has 3 owners- names are visible under each other repaint. The 50% of Wehrmacht decal is preserved and good visible. The paint has nice surface scratches, national 3-color decal was removed by owner or run out with textured rough paint (usually the decal is not hard if over painted ). The interior neck guard apron is inscribed " Krieger " and painted in textured field grey paint, under that name is visible other one: Obgefr W???????, then field post number and letter B, under this inscribe visible another one and written with more yellowish color, the inscribe is unrecognizable but last "98 E" is clean. The factory markings on the helmet is invisible due of the thick layer of paint. The interior crown has a Beschaffungsamt-Abgenommen (Procurement Office) ink stamp. Aluminum liners ring and leather part of the liner are present but heavy used. The chinstrap is present but long part is cracked and broken. Liners string is present. Shells size 64. Very nice used helmet from Ostfront area.
