Imperial Russian M 1915 Gasmask “ mask-snout” with original bag. The mask was constructed by chemical committee of the Head Artillery Department (HAD), developed by engineer N.T.Prokofyev (“Маска-рыльце” разработанная Химическим комитетом Главного артиллерийского управления (ГАУ), разработка инженера Н. Т. Прокофьева). Extremely rare!
Most probably it's one of few survived examples nowadays. One known example located in the Russia in Army-Medical museum of Ministry of Defense in St Petersburg . The survived example from the museum is not exact the same model. Our example has a markings on the bag, show the date of production July 18, 1917 and inscription Second Workshop - Protivogaz ( Antigas - the name of the gasmask in Russian ). It's more earlier and much more rare than regular ww1 Zelinski gasmask. Good complete condition with all back straps, just rubbered elastic red brown suspender has some damage due of age - became dried.
We offer you an extremely rare opportunity to have such a rare completed item in your collection.
