M 35 Infantry gymnasterka, WW2 period made. Actually the cloth used for this gymnasterka is a diagonal cotton used for the breeches, but as known the war time period made gymnasterka tunics were made from different cloth. This cloth is more reinforced and well suitable for use at the frontline. The gymnasterka marked 1941, and actually we got it complete with trousers in same condition (ask for details if you want) and made by the same factory. The gymnasterka was found in one veteran's family, the name of original owner was found in the archives and we got a chance to get a copy of the award documents and KIA entry. Here is the history from a collector who got it first: the captain Krasovskiy Tihon Afanasyevich was the commander of the 30 rifle battalion of a 126th rifle brigade, after he was awarded with the Red Star order, he got few days vacation to visit relatives in Gorky oblast (Russia). On his way to home he got new uniform in Gorky military department and then visited the home where he left the uniform for some reason. Soon his brigade moved to the hard battles and he was KIA (killed in action). That's happened after he returned back to the front line from vacation just in 3 days! Gymnasterka is in mint condition with M 41 collartabs and field insignia. Black painted buttons. Originally attached field insignia. Size 5 ( XL size). There is one award hole. The tunic is in very good condition. Please look attached pictures of the tunic + photos of the documents from military archive (award document and "killing in action" records from unit's register book). So, he got the Order of Red Star on June,19 in 1942 and was killed in action on July,17 in 1942 at the Wolhow Front (Leningrad area). Just one month after awarding!Extreme rare!
