M 43 Panzertruppe officer's hat in huge size - 61, personalized to Eckardt. Grey unshiny piping, with grey mannschaft's BeVo eagle. Most probably the hat belonged to German tank ace Hermann Eckardt. The cap looks like tailor made, black wool is the same as used on the mid war made SS insignia. Very good condition and very nice and rare M 43 Einheitsfeldmuetze
