Eastern Front, Lemberg, Crimea (photo with the inscription: Ivan Baba), Taman Peninsula and the Stalingrad area. Awesome that at the front he wore a black tank side hat with a field-grey uniform. Many photos with interesting inscriptions on the back. Karl Held was killed in early December of 1942 in the village of Yolki (not far from a Gumrak), Stalingrad Area (now Volgograd), his name could be find on one of the slabs at the Rossoshki Military Memorial Cemetery.
