Austrian M16 Helmet Used by the Wehrmacht
Austrian steel helmet M16, used by the Wehrmacht. The helmet features an attractive matte field repaint typical of the mid-war period. The condition is untouched, preserved exactly as found during the war, without post-war alterations or disassembly.
The decal is partially worn due to service use. The chinstrap attachment was factory-removed and factory re-riveted directly to the helmet shell.
The helmet is fitted with a 1939-dated liner mounted on an aluminum band, size 57, with a clear stamp on the leather. An original cord is present. The shell bears a size stamp 64 on the left side.
