Early type of under-helmet liner used by the Chemical Troops of the Red Army. Such items were normally treated with a pungent anti-mustard gas impregnation, but this example does not have it. These liners were also used in other RKKA branches at the beginning of the war as regular under-helmet liners. No markings present.
