Early Infantry Officer’s Visor Cap of the Wehrmacht
An early Wehrmacht infantry officer’s visor cap made of officer-quality cloth with white piping. It features the early dark green color used until 1936, which has a cooler shade compared to later versions.
The cap is fitted with a silver nickel eagle of the early pattern, as well as an early-pattern cockade, both silver-plated. The chin cord is made of silver-plated metallic thread.
There are a few small holes, each smaller than a match head. The leather sweatband is in excellent condition, with no tears.
The golden lining bears the Erel Sonderklasse marking, though the anti-sweat diamond is absent, likely due to discomfort during wear. Size 56
