Field shoulder strap of the 1943 pattern for the Aviation branch of the RKKA. Made of khaki wool cloth with sky-blue edging and a longitudinal crimson stripe. It bears two gilt metal rank stars corresponding to the rank of Technician-Lieutenant. The aviation technician emblem – wings with a propeller – is incorrectly attached on a shoulder strap intended for flying personnel, which suggests either use for display purposes or the owner’s lack of a proper Technician-Lieutenant strap.
