Original Gemeinsames Flugzeugführer- und Beobachterabzeichen manufactured by Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid (FLL). One of the Luftwaffe's most prestigious qualification badges, awarded to personnel qualified as both pilot and aerial observer.
The silver finish of the eagle and the gilt finish of the wreath have largely diffused into the zinc base over time due to the natural physico-chemical properties of zinc, although both finishes remain clearly visible. Manufactured by Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid (FLL), one of the best-known makers of Luftwaffe qualification badges. Good collector condition.
