German single decal steel helmet m40 EF 62. Nord Front. Wehrmacht. Marking on the steel ring of the liner with the year of manufacture 1941. The leather part of the liner with size 55 marked and with its original drawstring. The leather chin strap is most likely installed later after the helmet was in the hands of the collector and is marked: gxy 41, factory Gebruder Klinge Lederwarenfabrik, Dresden-Löbtau 1941. The helmet has various scratches in the paint due to front-line use. Untouched example.
