HJ Fahrtenmesser made by Carl Eickhorn- Blut and Ehre

HJ Fahrtenmesser made by Carl Eickhorn. Well used HJ dagger with heavily used blade with etched motto “Blut and Ehre”.  This HJ Knife is from very early production, probably made prior to 1934.  The reverse blade is stamped with the small oval trademark used from 1933 to 1934. Inside is a the firm's name and location, “Carl Eickhorn / Solingen”, and in the center is a seated squirrel. Lower the logo is the protected patent term, “Ges. Geschützt” . The original brown leather frog is present, but broken, missed the closure.
