Cavalry Breeches of Oberleutnant Otto Ringelstetter, Used During World War II
These cavalry breeches in Steingrau (stone grey) color were produced during the pre-war Reichswehr period. They feature markings: “HBAM”- 1927, and a regimental stamp from the same year for the 17th Bavarian Cavalry Regiment (17. Bay R.R). And the latter used by its owner in the 15th Reconnaissance Abteilung

The breeches are in excellent condition, with clear signs of front-line use. Wartime field repairs and a leather reinforcement in the crotch area are present.
These breeches belonged to Oberleutnant Otto Ringelstetter, who perished in Poland in January 1945. His tunic is offered as a separate lot.
