Large RKKA Cap Star Model 1936
Original 36 mm RKKA cap star, Model 1936, intended for wear on a service cap or Budyonovka. The badge features the separate applied hammer and sickle characteristic of this early pattern. The red enamel is exceptionally well preserved, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. The applied hammer and sickle remain untouched and retain their original attachment tabs, an important feature for collectors of early Soviet insignia. The star was acquired in Germany and was most likely brought back as a battlefield trophy by a German soldier during the opening months of the German-Soviet campaign. Excellent collector condition.
