Gold Close Combat Clasp with fire gilt finish. The reverse bears the FEC.W.E. Peekhaus, Berlin marking together with the Friedrich Linden factory logo — FLL inside three circles.
The clasp shows natural traces of age together with partial wear to the gilded finish. Despite this, the piece remains in outstanding collectible condition.
The relief details of the clasp, wreath, grenade and central bayonet with crossed hand grenade remain well preserved.
A very rarely encountered example in this level of preservation.
