Original long-pattern KS98 dress bayonet manufactured by Puma, Solingen, identified by the maker's trademark depicting a puma's head within a square above the Puma name. The bayonet is personalized with the inscription Heinz Klug, 2./Pionier-Bataillon 30, identifying its owner as a soldier of the 2nd Company, Pioneer Battalion 30. The bayonet displays honest period service wear. The scabbard retains noticeable paint wear, while the hilt shows a distinct contact mark from prolonged use with its leather frog.
