M 38 Feldmütze for the signals troops in the armored units of the Wehrmacht

M38 Feldmütze for the signals troops in the armored units of the Wehrmacht. The sidehat is in perfect, near mint condition. It is made of black wool with zinc eyelets black lacquer painted,  completed with a black tank eagle and dark green cockade with lemon yellow soutache over it. The hat without traces of use and was most likely stored in one of the Wehrmacht's warehouses until the Red Army captured it with tons of other uniforms, equipment and ammunition.  Then in 1942 the hat was sent to the "Kazakhfilm Film Studio"  where it was stored in a dressing room till our days. That was normal practice when Soviet propaganda film studios used original  captured German uniforms and field gear for making Soviet anti-nazi propaganda films.  On the lining there are good visible both film studio inventory stamps and hat producer stamp: Lago - Berlin 1941. Also size marking "55" is present, as well as the stamp of secondary acceptance of the official warehouse in Berlin: B.II 40.  Nice original panzer sidecap in near mint condition!
