M31 Liner for the German steel helmet from 1943. The outer rim shows oxidation. Complete liner with all the springs. The long part of the chin strap is shortened at the fastening area, but this was done during the war. The chin strap has aluminum fittings, most likely from another early helmet. Size 66/58. Uncleaned as is, the leather is hard, but can be restored. The chinstrap is also little bit dry and has some minor cracks
