M40 Wehrmacht artillery tunic in enlisted rank of Kanonier

M40 Wehrmacht artillery tunic in enlisted rank of Kanonier. No damage on the wool, just a small insect damage on the lining, which is visible in the photos. All buttons are original to the tunic. Tunic is made by well known our days company - Peek & Cloppenburg, "BEHA" GMBH Berlin.  The tunic is well marked with size and depot stamps: B 41, Berlin 1941.  Size marking shows approximate size of the tunic: 48 European. The shoulder straps have viscose red piping, which is more "dirty" dark red than simply red - more close to wine red color like on Nebeltruppe issue straps, but we are sure it's just a play of light and shade.  As we all know the factory colors in 3rd Reich was often different in shade from standard branch colors by order.  The collar tabs and the shoulder straps are original to the tunic and war period attached. The breast eagle is postwar re-attached  by professional tailor, but in other it's very nice tunic for your collection, and  hard to find a good M 40 tunic our days.
