Medal "For the Spanish Campaign 1936-1939" Egana. Medalla de la Campaña Española is a Spanish medal from the period of the Spanish Civil War. Established January 26, 1937. The obverse of the medal depicts a lion tearing apart a dragon, symbolizing communism, the dragon has a sickle and a hammer on its body. Against the background in the rays of the sun are four gilded swords creating a cross, as well as the date 17 JVLIO 1936: the date of the beginning of the armed putsch of the Spanish military against the Republicans. The medal is in mint condition in the box for issuance. Unfortunately, the box is damaged.
