Russian Medal "In Memory of the Tsar" of Nicholas I. "Въ память царя" Николая I. Вѣрою ему послужившимъ. 1825-1855. On the obverse is a portrait of the Tzar and an inscription in a circle: Николай I императоръ и самодержецъ Всеросс. Medal with a copper-red tint, unused, light patina. The only bad thing is that the medal's "eye" is re-soldered. Most like it was period made, because the soldering is silver-based alloy and looks authentic and old. Obviously, the medal has been made without a loop, just as a commemorative table medal. We prefer to leave it as si, because It's a beautiful medal in its fine details. Most same medals on the collectors market are in relic condition, dug up from battlefields or in hard worn  condition with scratches and other damage.  The example we offer you is truly unique, because of mint condition.
