Description

Commemorative military letter form issued for the Day of the Red Army. The upper part features a calendar with the date February 23, 1944, captioned “Day of the Red Army”, and a depiction of the first battles near Narva and Pskov in 1918. On the right, a Red Army soldier fires a machine gun while repelling the enemy attack. Signed by the artist Elvorson. Red slogan: “We fought, we fight and we will keep fighting!!!”. Lower part includes fields for address, field post number, and sender’s details. Excellent collector’s condition.
