Description

Frontline-used officer’s visor cap for Wehrmacht Panzeraufklärung, showing clear signs of field wear. Manufactured in the city of Bromberg, known today as Bydgoszcz in Poland.

The interior maker’s marking reads: Original Schellenberg, Walter Bunn, Inh. Hans Melde, Uniform–Mützen–Militär–Effekten, Bromberg, Adolf Hitlerstrasse 25.
The bright yellow felt piping shows areas of moth damage yet retains its strong color and authentic appearance. The sweatband stitching remains intact and undamaged.
The cap is made of frontline “order-quality” field cloth, the same type used on combat tunics of the Wehrmacht. Presented without restoration or modern intervention.
The cockade and eagle, made of aluminum bullion, are hand-applied in original wartime fashion; the eagle shows loss from heavy field use.
