Original black leather holster for the P.08 Luger pistol, manufactured by E.G. Leuner GmbH in 1941. The reverse is marked with P.08, the manufacturer's stamp with the 1941 date, and the Waffenamt WaA159 acceptance mark with eagle. An additional 162 inspection stamp is present inside the lid. The holster features the characteristic hard-shell box construction and retains its original takedown tool in the internal tool pocket.
Despite showing pronounced period use, the holster retains an outstanding overall appearance. The stitching on part of the belt loop has worn through from long service, clearly reflecting genuine wartime use. At the same time, the leather remains supple, free from tears or structural damage, and has retained its original shape. Its honest service wear and natural patina give the holster exceptional character, making it a highly desirable collector's example.
