Red Army Model 1943 gymnasterka tailored from imported diagonal twill cloth dating to the First World War. The fabric originated from Allied relief supplies delivered to Arkhangelsk in 1919 and remained in storage before being used for Soviet military uniforms. The tunic shows honest signs of service but has no holes or worn-through areas, and all original buttons remain intact. Approximate size is 50–52. Examples preserved in this condition are exceptionally difficult to find. If desired, the new owner may complete the display by adding a pair of field shoulder boards.
