Red Army wartime soldier’s letter form
Printed free military letter form used by Red Army soldiers to send correspondence through field post channels. The upper part features an agitational illustration by artist N. Lyapunov: a red battle flag with portraits of Lenin and Stalin, Soviet troops in attack, and tracer lines in the night sky. A patriotic verse typical of frontline propaganda accompanies the image. The form includes standard fields for recipient, sender and field post number, along with lined space for writing. The imprint at the bottom lists the “Krasny Proletary” printing house and the order number. A characteristic example of frontline printed material from the 1943–1945 period.
