RKKA Ssh-40 steel helmet, 1945. Completed condition with originally attached liner and the chinstrap, untouched as was found. Has factory markings Л-45, but very bad visible. Made at the Lysva Metal Factory. This helmet's type had been produced only during two years: 1944-45. Painted in grayish paint which is different than standard green paint БО-2 and helmets produced at this factory during this short period could be easy identified by this paint. In 1946 the factory began to use standard БО-2 green paint and factory stamp is also changed. Size 2 (approx. 57-58). Very good condition. The helmets produced in 1945 are much more rare to find than from 1944.
