RZM M7/51/38 Anton Wingen Hitlerjugend Fahrtenmesser
Transitional Hitlerjugend Fahrtenmesser manufactured by Anton Wingen Jr., Solingen, marked RZM M7/51/38. The obverse ricasso bears the maker's distinctive standing knight trademark. The blade shows only light signs of period use and careful sharpening while remaining exceptionally well preserved overall. The nickel-plated steel grip retains its original finish in excellent condition. The black Bakelite grip plates are free from chips or cracks, and the Hitlerjugend diamond emblem is perfectly preserved.
This knife was most likely carried by a particularly careful owner. The majority of Hitlerjugend knives encountered today show pronounced signs of use, including blade damage, chipped grip plates, rough sharpening, and general wear.
