SS Julfest 1939 commemorative medal. Bronze. The obverse features a raised SS-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, circumscribed by JULFEST 1939 with oak leaves. The reverse bears the dedication DIE SCHWARZE GARDE SS OBERABSCHNITT OST and the maker mark DESCHLER & SOHN, Munich. Diameter 55 mm.
Very good condition. Light cloudy copper patina present, which can be easily removed by professional cleaning if desired. Careful restoration available upon request.
