Steel helmet SSh-40, made in 1941. Extremely rare version of M1940 model with 1st type leather made lining. The helmet was found in a wet barn. All seams are gone on the liner, as well as the softening pads under it. The liner was removed for cleaning and then was professionally installed back. The liner's fastenings are also first type, with four rivets underneath. The helmet is well marked with ink stamps: batch - 1533 and rectangle stamp - Size 1, LMZ- 41 (which mean year 1941).
