Wehrmacht Heer DAK Panzer Tropical Feldbluse M 40, tunic and breeches belonged to lieutenant Mattias Sommer. The tunic and the trousers are in condition as were found in an old chest at the attic in Germany. The name of the owner is written on the paper which shows the entry to the military hospital in Neapol, and it has a date - December 1942 year. The papers were found in the breast pocket of the tunic. Both the tunic and the breeches are depot marked: B 41, (Berlin 1941). The tunic is in small size, breast is 88 cm and cuff length is 66. The breast eagle, pink piped collar tabs and cuff title are original and period applied to the tunic. The shoulder boards are not from this tunic, but remain original and they are made of matt-grey aluminum cord. Tunic is uncleaned as found and you have a great chance to pick up fully original tunic with much character. It's very hard to find original tunic with officer's insignia, due it's not easy to tell - is insignia original to the tunic or not... This example is one looker and no doubt about originally sewed insignia.
