Wehrmacht Heer, “Ostfront” type lightweight tunic, made from a a piece of field gray waterproof cotton. All insignia is original to the tunic. Early style shoulder straps show that the owner was Oberfeldwebel in 13 Infanterie regiment, which fought at the Western Front. Later the regiment was partially transferred to 13 Gebirgsjager Regiment and the rest of regiment to Inf Ers. Btl. 13, which later was renamed: Panzergrenadier-Ersatz- und Ausbildungs-Bataillon 13 http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/Gliederungen/Infanterieregimenter/IR13.htm. The tunic is in excellent, slightly worn condition. Award loops for Iron cross and other combat badges. Size approx 48 in size, breast around 92 cm.
