Abandoned at Shaukotas (Lithuania) KV-2 1939 model, U-4. June 1941. KV-2 tank was captured by the Germans near the Shaukotas. Numerous traces of hits by anti-tank shells are visible on the turret armor, but no hole trough is visible. Most likely, the tank ran out of fuel, and the crew left it. Unfortunately, the details of this battle have not been found yet, but we saw few other similar photos of this tank and they show the remains of broken German motorcycle. It can be assumed that it was crushed by this tank.
