Mid/late war issue, combat style Panzer visor hat. The visor is styled as a crusher hat and has a softer type of cardboard inside. Mid war combat wool type with typical badge. The cloth dark green band is made of well known in the collector’s world moleskin type cloth, particularly seen on the war time items. The insignia is hand embroidered bullion style. Most probably upgraded later by the owner due there are traces of previous metal wreath on the inner side of the hat. We could see attachment holes from it direct underneath of the sweatband. Typical war time issue artificial leather sweatband. No chin cord, however the thread from the buttons stitching is present. Interesting wreath - the national tri color pip is BeVo style which is normally used on the enlisted ranks headgear. The bullion eagle is also made on the dark green moleskin base, same as the band. Size circa 57-58, slightly worn, excellent condition Panzer visor.
