Early cupronickel buckle for SS-VT, SS-TV, A-SS. A variation is known as the Cracked Wing. Due to slight damage to the punch on the left-wing and head of the eagle, which is a characteristic feature of all these buckles. No markings which is normal for this type. The buckle is in excellent, slight-worn condition and has a pleasant patina.
