First variant of the Deutsche Jungvolk membership badge featuring the additional letter "V" at the bottom. This version was only produced for one year. Later badges were manufactured with the "DJ" marking only. This example was made by Steinhauer & Lück in Lüdenscheid, as confirmed by the full maker's mark on the reverse. The badge predates the introduction of the RZM standard, placing it before 1933. A rare and important example of early Deutsche Jungvolk insignia.
