HJ Hitlerjugend 1923–1933 München – Commemorative Badge

Excellent condition, solid bronze with silvering. Badge issued to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 1923 events and the creation of the Hitler Youth organization. The obverse depicts the Feldherrnhalle in Munich — the symbolic center of the Beer Hall Putsch — surmounted by an eagle with a swastika. At the top of the badge is the inscription:

„UND IHR DOCH HABT GESIEGT“
(“And yet you have prevailed”)

At the bottom — inscription: Hitler-Jugend 1923–1933 München.

The badge existed in several variants:

• Bronze version: awarded to Hitlerjugend members who participated in the event

• Bronze with silvering: awarded to guests from the Wehrmacht and other NSDAP organizations not directly part of the Hitlerjugend

• Solid silver version: awarded to high-ranking honorary guests
