Fliegerblouse of the sanitary service of the Luftwaffe -1st model

Branch: LUFTWAFFE
Product Code: o3/2_
Out of stock

Description

Fliegerblouse of the sanitary service of the Luftwaffe -1st model. The tunic itself is a huge rarity since practically the first type of tunics has not been preserved due to being worn off during combat. This tunic is in really large size, approximately 52-54, with a waist width of 108 cm. A breast eagle is sewn on the tunic by order of 1940, until then the tunic was used without a breast eagle. The eagle is sewn with a zigzag stitch, most likely in an army workshop due to the introduction of a new standard. Sewn-in shoulder straps with dark blue piping, a blue cord around the collar, and dark blue moleskin collar tabs, match the color of the combat sanitary service of the Wehrmacht. Embroidered badge of a Luftwaffe paratrooper, possibly added later, but fully fits with the condition of the tunic. There are some minor tips and some small holes and traces of insects, but not critical.
