Kriegsmarine Tunic for a Funker-Matrosengefreiter
Dark blue Kriegsmarine tunic, the so-called “Kollani,” complete with all insignia.
The breast eagle is hand-embroidered and hand-sewn. The collar tabs are hand-applied and made of dark blue Kriegsmarine felt. The collar has a small period repair from natural service wear.
All insignia, including the sleeve elements, eagle and collar tabs, are hand-stitched, most likely during wartime use.
A visible trace of a medal bar (Spange) is present on the chest, and the Iron Cross ribbon bar remains in its original position.
The tunic is made of dark blue wool with a heavy wool interior lining typical for Kriegsmarine items.
Measurements: shoulder width approx. 90 cm, chest 94 cm, sleeve length 64 cm, total length 68 cm.
An excellent, well-preserved naval overcoat with light, authentic service wear.
