SS Leather Cross Strap Assmann RZM 155/38 1938
Leather cross strap intended for wear with SS-Verfügungstruppe or Allgemeine SS uniforms. The leather remains in excellent condition, supple, with no cracks or signs of drying.
The strap is fitted with aluminum hardware manufactured by Assmann, bearing the maker’s “A” logo. The metal fittings are marked RZM and SS and carry the Assmann manufacturer code 155/38, confirming production in 1938.
The leather strap itself is also stamped SS. Due to period use, the stamp appears lighter but remains clearly legible. The center section bears the original owner’s initials applied in indelible pencil.
