The Soviet camera FED 1 B, with serial #31161, 1936 year made. This camera was not just one another Leica's clone, but it was the most popular camera in the USSR, and named as FED Labor Commune of NKVD of Ukrainian USSR. F.E.D. are initials of the first soviet leader of ChK, OGPU, and later NKVD - Feliks Edmundovich Dzerzhinsky (F.E.D) As we know before the war were produced 54400 pcs. in total and production of this model finished in 1937. The camera is in good uncleaned condition, original leather cover has some stitching damages but still a nice example.
