Waffenrock of the Hauptmann of the reserve in 19th infantry regiment of the Wehrmacht. Collar tabs, shoulder straps, and cuff tabs were re-sewn, most likely because they were removed before cleaning/washing of the tunic and then applied back. The tunic is in perfect condition, made of excellent quality officer woolen gabardine tricot. No damage. There are loops for a badge and a medal bar. The size of the tunic - approximately 48. The regiment fought in Poland, in France, began a war on the territory of the Soviet Union in Brest-Litovsk, June 22, 1941, as part of the Wehrmacht's 7th Infantry Division. Fought near Moscow. Participated in the anti-partisan operation "Gypsy Baron" in the Bryansk forests, as well as in the operation "Citadel" in the Battle of Kursk. In July 1944, the regiment rolled back to its positions where it began Operation Barbarossa on June 22, 1941 - Brest-Litovsk. From August 31, 1944, the regiment received the honorary name "Regiment List" (in this regiment, during the First World War, Adolf Hitler served), before that the honorary name "Regiment List" was carried by the 199th Grenadier Regiment, which was destroyed.
