Early Wehrmacht leather belt, converted from a single-prong leather strap to fit a standard combat buckle with catch system.
The aluminum buckle is a scarce type marked “GD.CD,” identifying the manufacturer Gebrüder Deyhle, Schwäbisch Gmünd.
The belt measures 95 cm in total length.
The leather is exceptionally soft and flexible, still fully usable today, despite pronounced traces of frontline wear.
The tip of the strap shows faint ink-stamped maker marks applied with period stamp ink.
An excellent early example, well preserved and structurally sound.
