Close Combat Clasp in Bronze Friedrich Linden
Original Close Combat Clasp (Nahkampfspange) in bronze grade. Made of zinc by Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid. The bronze finish is partially lost due to natural reaction with the base metal, typical for late-war zinc production. Shows signs of wear, including a small oxidation mark on one of the oak leaves. The reverse bears the FLL maker's mark in rings and the inscription FEC. W. E. PEEKHAUS BERLIN, indicating the designer. Fully original piece with functioning clasp.
