Feldmütze for the lower ranks of the mountain troops of the Wehrmacht, Gebirgsjäger Kepi. The cap is in "salty" condition, with traces of hard wear, damage, and frontline repairs made during the war. The sweatband is ww2 period replaced by the owner, most likely because original one was in hard worn condition. The producer stamp on the lining is not clear visible due of wear and dirties. Size approximately 57-58. T-shaped trapezoid with eagle and cockade is post-war added, but matched the cap's general condition and was professionally applied with correct ww2 period threads. Early type Edelweiss badge is aluminum made. Real frontline example with spirit of war!
