Kepi for Gebiggsjäger officer of the Wehrmacht. Kepi is made by the Viennese tailor Hans Kohl. Since the Austrian manufacturers made all caps in the style of mountain troops, it's most likely that they continued to produce caps of the 1943 model similarly. The cap never had an edelweiss side badge, and there is a possibility that the cap was made according to the Jaeger style for a Heer officer, in other troops than G.J. A Kepi with no traces of use, a trapezoid with an eagle, of an M43 type, is sewn on the front. The cap has a couple of moth holes. Made of high-quality diagonal tricot officer's wool with a full viscose lining and the marking of the manufacturer Hans Kohl Wien 76, Favoritenstrasse 87. Size 55
