Original AUER gas mask canister designed for Luftschutz (civil air defense), developed based on the Reichswehr and Wehrmacht army model (1930–1935). This model was produced until the end of the war, with almost no modifications.
Its structure fully replicates the 1st model army gas mask canister, except for specific markings. The lid features the original marking: AUER RL1-38/3 Vertrieb gemäss §8 Luftschutzgesetz genehmigt, confirming compliance with the Air Defense Law.
The canister is in excellent condition, complete with all original straps.
